The Friendship System

There are 3 friendship levels for every NPC that apply for all characters on an account. Each level requires a specific number of friendship points:

• Level 1: neutral, 10 points
• Level 2: friendly, 20 points
• Level 3: happy, 30 points

- You receive rewards from the NPCs depending on the friendship level.
- You can never have less than 0 friendship points with an NPC.


How to strengthen the friendship

Conversations:

• You can speak to each NPC once a day. If you still haven't spoken to an NPC yet, this will be shown via a speech bubble over their head.
• The NPC's response corresponds to the current friendship level.
• You receive friendship points and a reward for the conversation.
• The reward will be sent to you by in-game post directly after the conversation.

Gifts:

• Event items drop in the dungeons (excluding Ruben, Henir, Ereda Island): Ornamented Sword, Transparent Glass Pearl, Decorative Candlestick and Book of Popular Stories.
• These can be presented to the NPCs as gifts as long as you haven't reached the highest friendship level. You can give a gift to any NPC once a day. You receive friendship points for this and the NPC will respond according to friendship level and gift. Click the [Give gift] button and then select the amount (max. 5 pieces). If this means you reach the highest friendship level, the item that causes you to reach this level will disappear and the remaining items will be returned to your inventory.
• Each NPC really likes one of the event items in particular, and totally dislikes another, so take care which item you give to whom!
• You can also get the item 'Decorative Gift Box' from the item shop during the event. It is guaranteed to strengthen your friendship by 4 points. Purchase 'Pack containing Decorative Gift Box' to get it.

* Pack containing Decorative Gift Box (A) contains 1x Ice Sculpture Heater and 5x Decorative Gift Box. Costs as much as 1x Ice Sculpture Heater.
* Pack containing Decorative Gift Box (B) contains 1x Fossil Analyser and 5x Decorative Gift Box. Costs as much as 1x Fossil Analyser.


Rewards

• You can receive the following daily quests from the NPCs if you speak to them: 1x Mysterious Spring Water, 1x Medium-Strength Mana Elixir, 1x Light Spear, 1x Bag containing Poison Orbs, 1x Bag containing Wind Orbs, 1x Bag containing Fire Orbs, 1x Bag containing Darkness Orbs or 1x Bag containing Water Orbs.
• You can receive the following rewards from the NPCs for reaching the next friendship level: 1x Cube containing Resurrection Stone, 1x Luriel's Orb Bag (1 day), 1x Luriel's Wonder Drug Cube, 3x Enhanced Magic Stone or 1x Luriel's Vitality Potion.
• You can receive the following rewards from the NPCs for reaching the highest friendship level: 1x NPC Surprise Pack (red), 2x NPC Surprise Pack (yellow) or 3x NPC Surprise Pack (blue).

If you have reached the highest friendship level with multiple NPCs in the same group (all NPCs in a town, all CoBo employees, all NPCs at resting places), you receive additional rewards.
* Ruben group: 1x Cube containing Luriel's Ice Sculpture Heaters (3 pieces, 7 days), 1x Cube containing Luriel's Fossil Analysers (3 pieces, 7 days)
* Elder group: 1x Dreamwind - Gold ED (permanent)
* Besma group: 1x Cube containing Luriel's Ice Sculpture Heaters (3 pieces, 7 days), 1x Cube containing Luriel's Fossil Analysers (3 pieces, 7 days)
* Altera group: 1x Seraph Wings (permanent)
* Peita group: 1x Cube containing Luriel's Ice Sculpture Heaters (3 pieces, 7 days)
