Raid Boss Perkisas, Phase 3

1. Perkisas, Phase 3
2. Dragon Mode
3. Nightmare Mode
4. Rewards
5. Miscellaneous

1. Perkisas, Phase 3
Battlefield and battle proceedings have been restructured. Everything else (duration, ranking, reward distribution, etc.) remains as in phases 1 and 2.

2. Dragon Mode
The battle takes place on a crescent formed map. Perkisas faces the characters in the centre of the crescent.
The camera can be moved freely.
Perkisas attacks the characters with claws and tail. Additionally he drops meteors and makes use of his fire breath.
After a certain amount of time, the Nightmare mode will activate.

3. Nightmare Mode

  • In Nightmare mode, you fight against Perkisas in human form: K.O. protection, no hit stun, will not go to the ground with the resurrection of characters, endless HP; attacks using various surface area attacks which can cause debuffs.
  • According to the damage that you deal to him, you will earn points.
  • After a certain amount of time, Perkisas will retreat and the crystal 'Nightmare Shadows' will appear.
  • The crystal summons shadow monsters, who can be defeated but do not give you any points.
  • You have 30 sec. to destroy the crystal.
  • If the Nightmare Shadows has been destroyed in time, the characters come back to the fight against the dragon. The dragon is then K.O. for a short period and the characters receive 4 buffs for a period of time.
  • If the Nightmare Shadows has not been destroyed, the characters will instead receive a 5 sec. changing debuff that lasts until the end of the dragon mode.

4. Rewards

Effects Adjustment
1. Weapons Damage
2. Effects

1. Weapons Damage
The damage a weapon makes no longer has a set value, instead it now has a damage zone. If a weapon previously had an attack value of 1000 attack and 800 magic attack for example, it will now have an attack value from 900 to 1100 attack and 720 to 880 magic attack. With this, the most likely damage you inflict will lie in the middle of the range.

2. Effects

Two effects have been removed from the game and replaced with other effects, three more effects have been added.

a) The two changed effects are:

  • Improvement to the 'hit probability' will be changed to 'MP gain on dealt hits' (increases the MP gain when you successfully land a hit).
  • Improvement to 'Dodge' has been changed to 'MP gain on incurred damage' (increases the MP gain when you are hit).

The changes affect the whole game - buffs, skills, titles and items.

  • There will be no more buffs that increase hit probability or dodge in random missions, for example.
  • With skills that increased hit probability or dodge, the effect will be removed.
  • With titles, the old effect will be replaced by the new effect.
  • For items such as the wonder drug 'Ventus' Winged Aura', the dodge effect will be removed.
  • There are new magic stones that increase 'MP gain on dealt hits' and 'MP gain on incurred damage'.

For avatar costumes, in line with these changes you can now choose from the following effects.
Old:
Attack speed, critical hit, damage bonus, dodge, damage resistance, HP, hit probability, Power Boost charge (for Add: DP charge), Power Boost duration (for Add: DP consumption), movement speed and jump power
New:
Attack speed, critical hit, damage bonus, MP gain on dealt hits, MP gain on incurred damage, damage resistance, HP, Power Boost charge (for Add: DP charge), Power Boost duration (for Add: DP consumption), movement speed and jump power

b) The three new effects are:

  • Devastation (sets the probable damage to the upper level of possible weapon damage. Also increases the chance of inflicting maximum damage with a weapon.)
  • Specialisation A (gives a specialised effect according to the character)
  • Specialisation B (gives a different specialised effect according to the character)

The specialisations for the different characters are as follows.

  • Elsword, A: increases the speed of aura gathering (destruction and vitality), except when in that mode
  • Elsword, B: reduces aura consumption for skills that are used in each mode
  • Aisha, A: increases damage for memorised skills
  • Aisha, B: reduces mana consumption when memorising skills
  • Rena, A: gives you a chance of an additional NF (with gain of NF, max. remains at 5)
  • Rena, B: reduces MP consumption when using skills that require NF
  • Raven, A: increases core charge speed
  • Raven, B: gives a chance of not using the core
  • Eve, A: increases core charge speed
  • Eve, B: gives a chance of not using the core
  • Chung, A: reduces MP consumption with skills provided that at least 1 cannonball is loaded
  • Chung, B: gives a chance of not using any cannonballs
  • Ara, A: increases regeneration of HP and spirit energy in Fox God mode, give MP with insufficient amount of attacks
  • Ara, B: regenerates MP with the consumption of spirit energy
  • Elesis, A: increases the speed of aura gathering (Storm and Obliteration), except when in that mode
