Tournament Cycle

Round 1: Qualifiers
Round 2: Nationals
Round 3: Knockouts
Round 4: Play-offs
Round 1: Qualifiers
In the first section of the tournament, a qualification round is held on each server. During this phase you can register on the tournament microsite.
Only the best 64 players (measured from the official 1vs1 PvP rankings) will be permitted into the next round. You have to fight your way to the highest rank you can achieve to then reach the Nationals round.
Round 2: Nationals
The second round is made up of 6 national tournaments, one for each country server: France, Germany, Great Britain, Italy, Poland and Spain.
This tournament stage follows the rulings of a K.O. system and matchmaking is as follows: the highest in the PvP rankings faces the lowest (no. 64 vs. no. 1). This ensures that the highest ranks do not face up against each other straight away.
This tournament round will comprise of 63 matches per server; matchmaking will be visible on the tournament page.
The 6 winners of the Nationals will reach the Knockouts.
Round 3: Knockouts
In this round, the six victors of the nationals will face each other, the last two will then be kicked out. Each player will play all other players. There will be a total of 15 matches.
The four players with the most wins will be permitted into the play-offs. If there is a tie between two players, then the result of the duel between them will act as the deciding factor.
For the knockouts, participants will be provided with an account on the UK server, the round will be played out there.
Round 4: Play-offs
The play-offs take place at Gamescom (on the ESL Stage). The four finalists go up against each other in a K.O. system. Based on the results of the knockouts, ranks 1 and 4 will play against each other, as will ranks 2 and 3.
